She Did It!!

Chloee took her first few steps the week of her birthday! In the month following, she has become a great little walker! She very rarely chooses to crawl anymore, and has the cutest little strut! One of her favorite games is to get chased, and to tease you by walking to you and then turning around at the last minute to run away!! She sure is a cutie pie, and we love her so much!! Parker is even learning to like her a little bit more!

Christmas 2010

Christmas this year was pretty good. For some reason I had a hard time getting into the Christmas season this year. I don't know what it was exactly, but I was pretty stressed and was also dreading the fact that Travis had to work both on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas day. Also last year it seemed like Christmas was extra magical because I was pregnant with Chloee, so I had that to look forward to as well. Anyways, that being said, we did have a nice Christmas. On Christmas Eve Travis met us after work at his grandma's house. We had a very yummy dinner and enjoyed spending time with his family. Then for Christmas morning my parents and siblings came over to watch the kids open their presents. It was good to have them with us, especially since Travis had to work. We spent the rest of the day at my parents house playing games and eating yummy food. Overall it was a good day, we just missed Travis!!

Here are some Christmas morning pics of the kiddos!

Chloee thought it was pretty fun to sit on the presents!!

Parker tearing into his gift from Santa! It was a t-ball set!!

Chloee got her first baby doll!!

The kids got a red wagon from Mimi and Papa!! How fun!

Resolutions

One of my goals for 2011 was to blog at least once a week, which means 52 posts total this year. Seeing as it is already the end of the third week of January and I have yet to post anything, I will be doing at least 3 posts this weekend! So without further ado, I give you my
2011 New Year's Resolutions:

1. Read the Scriptures daily--Our ward is having this as a challenge for the whole ward, so I am trying really hard, and have only missed one day so far!

2. Go to the temple monthly

3. Be a better visiting teacher, going every month

4. Put money into savings every month, hopefully at least $50 per month.

5. Exercize more often, working up to 3 time per week again

6. Cook dinner at least 5 times per week (This may seem like a no brainer for a mom/wife, but I rely on Travis too much sometimes!!) Also learn to cook new things, and be mindful of finding nutritious things to cook/eat.

7. Blog weekly.

8. Improve on being consistant with Family Home Evening, Family Scripture Study, and Family Prayer!

There you go! Those are my goals! I am already slacking on some of them, but hopefully by the end of this year I will be better at these things than I was in 2010!!

Happy 2011 to all!!!
