More Updates!

I never can seem to get everything down that I want to say before my little guy calls for me!! Anyways another fun thing that we got to do in the past little bit was go and see David Archuleta when he came back to Salt Lake a couple weeks ago. He was AWESOME!!! I have loved him from day one, and was so excited to go see him live. I can't wait for him to put out a CD and go on tour. Anyways here are a few pics of that.

My parents sell vinyl play systems out of their home, and use their front yard as their display lot. They have three swing sets in front right now, so we have lots of fun on them. Parker loves to swing and go down the slide. It's really nice not to have to go to the park to swing!

YES!! We ARE still alive!!!

I started this post awhile ago, but then got distracted and didn't finish!!

Well I thought that I'd better update everyone on our family. We made it to Utah in record time last weekend, only driving for 2 1/2 days. I don't know if that is really record time, but with a one year old, I felt like it was. Parker was an amazing traveler, he was so so good. We got a portable dvd player for the trip, which was a great investment. Parker watched disney movies all the way across the country. We arrived at my parents house last Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning when we got up in Nebraska to drive the rest of the way home there was ICE ON OUR CAR. Yuck. I was ready to turn around and drive back to Florida that morning.

Anyways I'm sorry for the lack of updates on the Brown family. Life has been crazy since we've got here to Utah. We've been busy working on my mom's house, still searching for a job, making jewelry, taking care of our little squirt, and the list goes on!! First off about the job hunt--Travis is still unemployed, but is going to test for the Utah State Prison on Saturday. He hasn't given up on his dream to fly, but is just putting it on hold for the time being so that he can support our family. His ultimate career goal is to fly for law enforcement, so he decided to pursue that side of things and get some experience to help him with his goals. He is planning on keeping up his flying though by renting a helicopter about once a month and flying.

Ok next on the list of things I need to tell you all about. My sister Heidi and I are starting a handmade jewelry business. We've already made several pieces, and are LOVING it. It is really exciting to see nice jewelry that I've made with my own two hands. I will post some pictures of the things that we've made later. Now on to some of the fun things we've been doing since we got here. My younger brother left on his mission on May 14, so before he went into the MTC he wanted to go to Lagoon with the family. We had a lot of fun spending time with him before he had to go. Parker was so good and even got to go on the ferris wheel with us. He LOVED it!! Here are a few pics.
